Located in the heart of Italy’s technology and equipment region, Techno Plastic leads the Broom and Bush Industry in offering extrusion lines to produce broom and brush fibres. Located between Modena and Bologna, Italy, Techno Plastic’s factory is situated in SanCesario Sul Panaro near Castelfranco Emilia.

The formation of Techno Plastic in 1999 came about due to the demand for a company with the capability to offer ‘turn-key’ operations to broom and brush manufactuers, providing them with, not only equipment but also ‘know how’ for the production of monofilament for their products. The partners of Techno Plastic have all of the above attributes and more. They have taken the technology of the fibre production for brooms and brushes to a whole new level with the introduction of the Fil 75 extrusion line.

The Fil 75 extrusion line produces broom and brush fibres, using either virgin polymer granules and/or suitably recycled PET flakes. The quantity of recycled ‘post industrial’ and ‘post consumer’ polyester PET flakes continues to grow rapidly in the international market and are available at quite attractive prices. The largest part of the cost of any plastic fibre is the cost of the polymers therefore the Fil 75 line is the key to substantially reducing your raw material costs and to repaying your investment in “no time at all”.

Techno Plastic’s Fil 75 extrusion technology allow you to transform these inexpensive recycled Polyester PET flakes into high, consistent quality and environmentally friendly fibres for brooms, brushes and paintbrushes. The fibres can be manufactured to be: flaggable or non-flaggable; straight or crimped; solid or hollow. They can be made with different cross – sections and diameters (from 0.12mm up to 2.00mm) and more. An additional plus of the Fil 75 is its capability to manufacture Polypropylene, Polyester PBT, Polystyrene and Polyethylene fibres.

Techno Plastic is proud to announce that between the dates of November 10th and November 30th 2003 they will have a Fil 75 line extruding both recycled Polyester PET and Polypropylene for manufacturing broom and brush fibres on display at their plant in Italy.
