The team’s Kent workshop is where the magic takes place to ensure the cars are in pristine condition when they hit the track, but the area was in need of a substantial makeover before the onset of the 2010 campaign. Teaming up with sister brand Leyland Trade, who provided 40 litres of Heavy Duty Floor Paint, Fat Hog offered up a string of fearsome Evolution rollers for the team to use to ensure the workshop was fit to host the impressive machines of one of the BTCC’s most colourful teams. The exceptional application and finish offered by the Evolution roller range ensured the task of applying paint to 1500 square metres of concrete floor was as smooth as a Motorbase Performance lap around Brands Hatch. David Bartrum, Team Principal at Motorbase Performance, said: “The Fat Hog rollers were hugely impressive and helped to make light work of what could have proven to be an arduous task. We’d have no hesitation at all in using them again.” Fat Hog’s Evolution rollers are engineered with intelligent fibre and foam technology to provide and ensure ultimate durability. Intelligent technology ensures optimum paint absorption and transfer of paint for maximum coverage and the perfect finish whatever the surface.
