For the DIY and decorating brush manufacturer, Pogliani offers KREX®: Special chemically-tapered filaments made of a mixture of polyesters widely used in the production of paint and artist brushes.

KREX® filaments for paintbrushes are available in any colour, and in diameters from 0,15mm up to 0,30, level or crimped, with angular cuts, and mixed according to customers’ wishes.

KREX® can be produced also co-extruded that means filament with the internal and external layers in two different colours.

KREX® works very well with all kinds of paints existing on the market, but its performance is excellent when water-based paints are involved. Natural bristles swell when dipped in water and due to their consequent volume increase, they are no more able to grant a quick and high quality performance. KREX ®, on the contrary, doesn’t swell thanks to its low water absorption and keeps unchanged its excellence performance. Generally KREX ® has an excellent resistance to most of substances.
