Welcome to the industry’s can’t-miss event. The global broom and brush industry will meet in April 2016 in Freiburg.
Mark your calendars for April 27–29, 2016: The 12th Interbrush, a leading trade fair and the world’s most important meeting point for the global broom and brush industry, is taking place in Freiburg. Around 180 exhibitors from 25 countries will present their products, including raw materials, semi-finished products and machines, across 21,500 m2 of exhibition area. More than 7,000 trade visitors from more than 85 countries are expected to visit the industry meeting, which is held every four years.
95% of the exhibition area is already booked. Interbrush is the most important meeting point for the broom, brush, paint roller and mop industry. 98% of the exhibitors already announced in 2012 that they would be represented at the next Interbrush, and 87% of the visitors were sure that they would visit the specialized trade fair again in 2016 – numbers that other trade fairs can only dream of.
The prospect of learning about the industry’s latest developments is not the only thing drawing both exhibitors and visitors to Freiburg. The picturesque venue itself also attracts industry representatives to Interbrush every four years. One of Germany’s most beautiful regions, Freiburg boasts historic architecture and plenty of culinary delights – hardly any other region has so many award-winning restaurants and first-class wineries!
The numbers show that Interbrush has found just the right mix. The international meeting and innovation driver for the whole industry not only continues to develop, it also shows steady growth in both the number of exhibitors and the exhibition area.
In addition to the trade fair’s three-day program, in 2016 the French and German broom associations are collaborating on a special exhibition in the historic Meckel-Halle in the financial center of the Sparkasse Freiburg about “From Housekeeping to Art – Brushes and Brooms Reveal Their Hidden Talents”
In 2016, Interbrush is once again a can’t-miss event for the industry, because, as Pierre Simler, President of the European Brushware Federation FEIPB describes, it will “bring together representatives of a small, but highly developed industry that thrives from high-tech products and constant innovation.”
