Long handles tend to be around 10,5″ long. Depending on the size of the brush, the diameter of the ferrule dictates which length of handle gives the right balance.

Christof Döring handles are finished several times with high quality German Nitro varnish available in various colours. The scale of colours ranges from a classically opaque lacquer up to transparent varnishes. Transparent lacquers provide a particularly excellent finish, leaving the grain of the certified European birch wood visible.
