Evonik's High Performance Polymers Business Line has been offering a broad range of high performance polymers and semi-finished products, which are used in countless areas of application ranging from the automotive industry—through the lifestyle sector and food-processing technology—all the way to machinery and appliances engineering. Our expertise includes materials solutions for filigree eyeglass parts as well as for rotor blades of wind power plants. 

In CIBRUSH 2016, Evonik will demonstrate the high performance filament application, such as the line of bio-based polymers Terra under the existing family trade name VESTAMID®. There are currently three products within this new group of polyamides available that are partially or entirely based on renewable feedstocks. They are VESTAMID® Terra HS, DS and DD. 

VESTAMID® HTplus, the first polyphthalamide (PPA) materials that allow the drawing of filaments. They can easily be processed to form different varieties of filaments. Modifications in geometry and colour are also possible. 

VESTAKEEP® polyether ether ketone (PEEK) compounds. VESTAKEEP® compounds are suitable for applications with extremely high mechanical, thermal, and chemical requirements.
