HP Industrial is based in Denmark and has a long and strong history as a sub-supplier of innovative plastic components for the hygiene, cleaning and painting industry. HP Industrials present line of products goes back to 1978 and over the past three years the company has developed from a company with a high focus on production into considering the whole value chain.

Sigurd Kongsgaard and Martin Petersen purchased HP Industrial in 2012 with the ambition to professionalize the company as a sub-supplier even further. Mr. Kongsgaard has a back-ground as site manager and country manager from various companies in the medical industry. Martin Petersens career path has been in production and production optimization with focus on moulds and LEAN-projects. 

The change of focus to consider the whole of the value chain has followed three profound steps. The first step was to optimize the production even further, from more effective production processes to state of the art quality control. The second step was to make the customer the centre of all activities. Everything from what, how and when to communicate has been evaluated and improved in order for HP Industrial to be an attractive and preferred sub-supplier for their customers. Production planning with customers and the production of customized products has become a natural part of the agenda at client meetings for HP Industrial. The third step has been the launch of a complete new and refreshed corporate logo and design image.

Competences

HP Industrial specialize in the production of standard plastic components for the paint industry and hygiene cleaning for pharmaceutical and food industries, as well as technical brushes and brushes for outdoor use. They also deliver customized solutions, from product development, own production of client owned moulds to manufacturing and planning in close cooperation with customers.

HP Industrial is manufacturing their plastic component to suppliers of brooms, handles and brushes for five different segments:

• Outdoor, for outdoor cleaning

• Painting industry, for the painting industry
