Hahl Pedex and BBC Celebrate Joint Venture
The German-Korean joint venture company “BBC Hahl-Pedex Filament” opened their doors for the opening ceremony on 15th September. 250 guests, employees and friends celebrated the official start of production which commenced at the beginning of August. Among the VIP guests were Hahl-Pedex owner Martin Ohneberg, BBC owners Kang Yeon Pok and Kang Ki Tae as well as Sejong City Vice Mayor Hong Young Seop.
Both founding companies expressed their mutual respect and friendship. German wine was served with dinner and the German representatives spoke in Korean during their opening speeches.
After the joint set up of machinery by German and Korean engineers, the production in Sejong city has already delivered to several clients including well-known Korean household and cosmetic products manufacturer Amorepacific. The month of September has seen a promising start with the introduction of a new product line based on Polyamide to several Asian customers. Both partners see potential for sustainable growth and many opportunities for closer cooperation.
The opening ceremony was just one event marking this cooperation. The next important event will be the Interbrush fair in 2016, where both companies will take the opportunity to present themselves together and will exhibit on a joint booth promoting their joint venture products.
