PETA celebrates 38th Anniversary

In today’s competitive environment, companies need to be flexible (in terms of production, customer service, pricing etc) and also react fast to ever-changing market conditions. One such company is PETA Co Ltd, which celebrates its 38th anniversary in November 2015.

The company was set up in Cyprus by the first generation owners, producing quality paint brushes for the local market. By the time the first second generation member took up full employment in the late 1990’s, the company was producing and exporting quality paint brushes and rollers to 15 countries worldwide.

Currently this family owned business has five family members in both manager and shareholder roles. With this wealth of expertise , PETA currently fully owns and operates three factories in Cyprus and Jordan, with current exports encompassing an export net stretching half the globe from Greece to Thailand.

In addition to two decorating tools factories (which have both won export awards from local governments), there is a thriving plastics factory, with separate division for plastics materials for the decorating factory and also an ISO/HACCP certified division for plastic food containers for the local market.

The company regularly welcomes both customers and suppliers for visits at its country operations, with surprising results. “We had a gentleman from Saudi Arabia who used to visit us in Cyprus to check his paint roller orders intended for his shop. He currently imports regular containers and visits us annually with his family. This gives us great satisfaction on both a personal and also business level”. Indeed, satisfaction in seeing long standing relationships extending across the globe.
