Senior employees in the company have been working on brush hair since 1980's. Senior Manager and co-owner, Mrs. Chen Xiufeng, was formerly a Senior Manager of Hebei Animal By-Product Import and Export Corp Group, which was an a affiliate of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China. At that time, only government-owned corporations could obtain an import-export business license. Mrs. Chen Xiufeng and her department worked closely with Delbanco Meyers Company Ltd and Paul Marsh LLC. In 2000, she resigned from her former company and started her own business.

Shijiazhuang Golden Harvest invested in a joint bristle dressing factory in Anhui, China and began to produce chemically tapered filaments in 2006 and commenced the supply of these filaments, as well as bristle/filament mixtures, to paint brush manufacturers. 

It might be that the company is one of the very few suppliers in China who have good knowledge of both boiled bristle and filaments.
