Visitors to the International Cleaning Trade Fair CMS Berlin 2017 will find all the support they need with the CMS App, CMS Guide and Virtual Market Place®. The many benefits offered by these new CMS media include some useful additional services as well as cross-medial synergy effects. They provide trade visitors with a comprehensive range of information and easy access to all the relevant details about the show, its exhibitors, products and special events, at any time and any place. CMS Berlin 2017 is taking place from 19 to 22 September at Berlin ExpoCenter City and is being held this year in conjunction with the congress of the World Federation of Cleaning Contractors WFBSC (18-20 Sept.), making this the world’s most important event for the industry.

The new CMS app provides sustained support for anyone attending this event. It is a combination of information medium, guide and networking tool in a single package. With this app visitors to the CMS can receive the latest information about exhibitors, products, events, the exhibition site and much more besides. It’s their own personal, mobile companion throughout the fair. A one-off download provides all the important data, enabling visitors to the CMS to make use of this app wherever they are, and independently of their own mobile internet connection. We recommend downloading the app on one’s own mobile device before arriving at the CMS. The new CMS 2017 app will be available in the summer of 2017 and can be downloaded free of charge onto any iPhone, Android smartphone or tablet.

Find your way around the Exhibition Grounds quickly with the new CMS 2017 Guide, available in a handy printed format. This compact reference book, containing vital details about exhibitors and special events as well as other useful, concise information, is being distributed free of charge to all trade visitors attending the CMS.

               

The Virtual Market Place® (VMP) is the official online catalogue complete with product and exhibitor search facilities, where exhibitors at the CMS Berlin can present themselves. The VMP is available throughout the year at and offers numerous benefits. The Networking Tool enables trade visitors to get in touch with exhibitors and with other trade visitors. Just enter a free profile on the networking index and then wait to be found by other networkers. A contact form provides an easy way of arranging appointments with exhibitors and networkers. 

Interesting entries can be stored on the fair planner and put together in preparation for an individual tour of the fair. A newsletter provides details about all the new features associated with the fair and about the exhibitors and products of particular interest to individual subscribers. Interactive plans of the halls help to locate the exhibitor, and an offline function is available for tablets and smartphones. All the exhibitors can be found at a glance on the list provided, which can also be downloaded in PDF and Excel formats. The Virtual Market Place® is ideal for all kinds of terminals, whether tablets or smartphones.

In addition to the official fair media, the CMS App, CMS Guide and VMP, the CMS Innovation Report, the new CMS Report App and the new CMS Newsroom complete the range of information services available at the CMS 2017.

From 19 to 22 September CMS Berlin 2017 will take place daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds (Berlin ExpoCenter City) in Halls 1.2, 2.2, 3.2, 4.2, 6.2 and on the outdoor display area in front of the south entrance on Jafféstrasse. 

Admission charges are 21 euros for a day ticket, 10 euros for a reduced-rate ticket and 32 euros for an unlimited pass. Tickets to CMS can be easily purchased from the online ticket shop and can be printed out home. Parking is available on and near the exhibition grounds. For visitors who prefer to leave the car and take public transport the S-Bahn will take them practically to the main entrance (Messe Süd). Access by cab is via the southern entrance on Jafféstrasse. 

Parallel with the cleaning trade fair the 22nd world congress of the World Federation of Cleaning Services Contractors (WFBSC) will be taking place in Hall 7, which is also the entrance to the event.

The deadline for reduced-rate registration for the 22nd WFBSC Congress is 27 July 2017. The fee for congress attendees is 1,200 euros (incl. 19 % VAT), and 550 euros for the programme of events for accompanying persons (incl. 19 % VAT). After 27 July 2017 the fees will be 1,500 euros and 600 euros respectively.
