The Lean Construction Summit sponsored by BAM will take place during this year’s UK Construction Week and aims to address the fundamental questions facing the construction industry today. Is the UK Construction Industry at a revolutionary tipping point or in a steady state of evolution towards improvement? What are the forces that are driving construction to transform the way that it is currently delivered?

The agenda focuses on leadership for Lean project delivery, disrupting the housing industry whilst tackling climate change head on, changing the way we create our built environment, transforming a major infrastructure organisation and embedding a lean culture.

Peter Mumford, Executive Director Highways England is announced as the keynote speaker of the summit taking place on 9 October at The NEC, Birmingham. Joining him is Sarah Beale, Chief Executive at CITB, Keith Waller, Programme Director at Construction Innovation Hub, Kevin McHugh, Associate Director at Mace and Menno de Jonge, Director of Digital Construction at Royal BAM Group.
