Filkemp’s Participation at Interbrush a Huge Success
Filkemp’s participation in this year’s Interbrush was a huge success, with Filkemp’s booth constantly busy with customers and visitors from all over the world, interested to learn more about the company’s abrasive filaments. Over the past years, Filkemp has continuously developed its abrasive filaments product portfolio and services by investing in new production lines, improving product quality, adding personnel to further improve after sales support, and increasing customer-driven R&D. These measures resulted in a rapidly growing market share and reputation, making Filkemp one of the major worldwide players in this highly competitive market.
Filkemp started its activities with monofilaments for bristles and the fishing industry while it was still part of the Hoechst group during the 1970s. Today Filkemp offers a vast range of filament solutions such as Paper Machine Clothing, Filtration Fabrics, Sport and Commercial Fishing, Mooring Ropes, Tennis Racket Strings, Grass Trimming, Agriculture, Filaments for 3D Printing and Abrasive Filaments. The latter are based on PA6, PA6.10 and PA6.12 for polishing and deburring tools for the automotive and metal industry, decorative stones and textile industry, as well as for floor care and other markets.
