Vie-Long Celebrates its 75th Anniversary

Vie-Long is celebrating the 75th Anniversary of its foundation in 1940. To celebrate, a Limited Edition of 500 shaving brushes have been manufactured. Two band badger hair is selected and weighted knot by knot. The hair is then shaped manually.

Two band hair is a thick hair; the thickest hair from Vie-Long’s offering. It’s less flexible than silvertip or the best badger hair. This characteristic makes this hair an excellent choice for those who use hard shaving soaps and enjoy face lathering. Is one of the best quality two-band hairs, if not the best that we’ve had in the company’s history. The softness on the tips is comparable to any silvertip.

Vie-Long is also offering this year new shaving brushes with American Style handles: Very long and with nice handles in two colours.  Also, Vie-Long is producing new shaving brushes with barbershop coloured handles and, for first time in 75 years, is offering shaving brushes with synthetic hair. These are very soft fibres that have the same behaviour of natural hair.
