Denman Professional will be the tool of choice for the GB Hair Team who will be competing at the OMC World Hairdressing Championships in 2023 for the first time in over a decade. Adam Gregory, Chief Executive and Head of Education and Training for the OMC Great British Hairdressing Team will be leading the charge for the UK’s latest bid for domination at the OMC World Hairdressing Championships that take place in Paris on 9th-11th September 2023.

Adam has created a network of ‘Centres of Excellence’ in colleges around the UK to build a legacy plan for the future of the GB Hair Team through training and the creation of the Junior GB Team. The UK regional heats for both Junior and Senior teams will take place in these Centres of Excellence in April and May of 2023 with the National Great British Hairdressing Championships being held at Central Hall in Southampton on Saturday 27th and 29th May 2023. Four squads of 24 will then be selected - Junior Ladies and Junior Men’s for the Under 23’s and Senior Ladies and Senior Men’s for those over 23. After an intense period of training 12 hair professionals from each category will be selected to form the final GB Hair Team to compete at the OMC World Hairdressing Championships in September 2023. Each trainer and competitor will receive comprehensive tool kits and bespoke GB Hair Team branded Original Stylers.
