Hillbrush Makes Large-Scale Injection Moulding Investment
Hillbrush, the UK’s largest manufacturer of brushes and specialist hygienic cleaning tools, has made significant investment in a new state-of-the-art 1000 tonne press injection moulding machine at its manufacturing site in Wiltshire. The injection moulding machine, which has a pick and place robot mounted to it, is capable of producing Hillbrush parts efficiently and will significantly increase Hillbrush’s in-house manufacturing capabilities and output.
Previously outsourced, the new large-scale machine will now enable Hillbrush to manufacture larger products such as snow shovels, warning A frame signs, multi-impression dust pans and buckets.
As well as brushware and its own large parts, Hillbrush will now also be able to manufacture medium to large parts for other companies who require plastic products that are injection moulded.
