After 8 year of negotiations, the 10 ASEAN states (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam) with 5 other partner countries (Australia, China, Japan, New Zealand and South Korea) have joined together to sign the largest free trade agreement, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). RCEP's main provisions aim at further integrating trade in the region, reducing tariffs and non-tariff trade barriers among members.
