At this year's National Painting and Decorating show, Axus Décor unveiled their enhanced Wood Finishing mini rollers (a part of their lime series) with the addition of a brand-new size.

The reaction to the sleeves at the show was positive. Many people loved the soft feel of the rollers and were impressed by the double core of the 6” size.

The rollers are shed resistant, ultra-long-lasting and capable of delivering an exceptional, flawless finish. They are perfect for painting doors, cabinets, wardrobes and any other woodwork. Their new, limited-loss fabric is unique. Tests show the percentage of fibres lost during application to be almost zero.

The outer core of each roller is made of high-density foam that prevents the roller from deforming. This is topped with a layer of velvet flock that features incredibly fine pores, reducing the visibility of texture as paint is released. This velvet flock also makes the roller highly suitable for applying water-based and oil-based coatings.

The rollers are available in two sizes: a conventional 4”, and a new, 6” version with a double core that holds three times the amount of paint as the 4”, made for painting large areas of trim rapidly. Both sizes click easily into place on an Axus Décor S-Frame and don't come loose.

The rollers also fall within Axus Décor’s agenda to improve ecological practice in the industry. Firstly, each pack is predominantly made from card, not plastic (unlike most mini rollers on the market). Secondly, the product is easy to clean and can be re-used several times, in contrast to foam sleeves that are typically disposed of after a single use.
