In 2018, we installed and put into operation the last step for a completely closed production cycle - the most innovative, automated and robotized paintbrush production line in Europe, with a production capacity of over 500 000 paint brushes monthly.

By adding this gem to our inventory, Antares has reached our long-term goal of becoming practically self-sufficient. This has allowed us to manufacture all of the paint brush components entirely in-house, by investing solely into the purchase of raw materials, which we then combine into the perfect product:

Equipped with computerized mold injection machines for production of plastic parts, we can manufacture the paint brush handles by ourselves.  By using only the finest quality virgin granulated polyolefins, Antares can offer a wide variety of handles with special ergonomic design, intended to provide comfort even after long working hours, and bicomponent handles. Our paint brush production line has the ability to work with plastic, bicomponent and wooden handles. The client can even personalize it by choosing their preferred colour.

The ferrule-making machines allow us to manufacture the ferrules entirely in-house. The client can choose both the material of the ferrule - tin plated, nickel plated, copper plated, or stainless steel and the assembling technology - nailing (fixing the head to the ferrule with nails) or immersion (gluing). It is just a matter of their own choice.

In contrast with most companies in the industry who often use polyester resin, Antares  never compromises, especially when it comes to quality or safety. That is why we use an epoxy resin, specifically formulated for this utilization.

As we believe in providing quality products for long-term utilization, we have chosen PE HD for our paint brushes’ wedges. In comparison, wooden wedges have proven to be unreliable, as they often absorb the paint and, soon after, ruin the brush.

Through the years, Antares’s customers have used our products on a variety of occasions and surfaces, which has allowed us to select and provide our clients with a wide range of customized bristles. Starting from pure bristle to fully synthetic ones, we work with ten different kinds of filaments and 8 lengths. And the best part? Everyone can make a purchase according to their own preferences as, at Antares, we always keep them in stock.

For the ones who want to private-label the production or simply add a specific label, we have thought of that too. Your logo can be laser marked or Pad printed and your label will be self-adhesive and full colour (CMYK) or PANTONE.
