Filkemp is a global leading manufacturer of Industrial filaments with a proven track record of quality, innovation and competitiveness, selling to more than 40 countries over 4.000 Tons of filaments per year.

Our monofilaments are used for many different applications, such as fabrics for the paper industry; conveyor belts and industrial filtration belts, industrial brushes, sport and industrial fishing equipment, tennis racquet strings, mooring ropes, agricultural lines, and, more recently, 3D printing materials.

Since 2011 Filkemp produces abrasive filaments based on PA6, PA 6.10 and PA 6.12 used in polishing and deburring tool accessories worldwide. These abrasive thermoplastics have applications in a wide range of industries such as automotive, metalworking, textile, marble and decorative stones, as well as floor cleaning and other special applications. Which raw material to use depends on the operating environment of each product (humidity, working temperature, applied pressure), as well as the required technical specifications (filament stiffness, thermal and chemical resistance, type, diameter and grit).

We offer customized features, such as:

Round or flat profiles
Grit sizes from grit 36 up to 3500, depending on grit type
0.25 mm (0.01 in) to 3.00 mm (0.12 in) diameters
Cut to 44 mm (1,73 in) up to 1405 mm (55.3 in) or on spools - single or multiple ends
Level or crimped finishing
In a broad variety of colors
With or without wax coating
