Sohre Turbomachinery are manufacturers of shaft-riding brushes for turbo machinery, Since 1978 this organization has been engaged om development, design and production of shaft-riding brushes for turbomachinery applications such as, in steam and gas turbines, gears, turbocompressors and ship propulsion systems. The purpose of these brushes is to assist in bringing shaft current problems under control, especially where shafts run at high surface velocity and in oil splash and other aggressive environments. Shaft currents are often generated by non-electric machines. Of course, they also occur in equipment, trains with electric motors and generators.
