Founded in 2006, Borghi Machinery Shanghai Co. Ltd. was the natural evolution of Borghi’s longstanding presence in China, having operated a representative office for several years prior.

Initially, the company focused on supporting local customers with spare parts and aftersales services for brush-making machines designed and manufactured by the parent company, Borghi S.p.A. from Italy. As the market opportunities grew and driven by the founder’s vision, the company shifted focus to production. This transformation led to the development and assembly of the flagship product, the STAR BMS double-head vertical machine, which was both assembled and distributed locally.

The next step in the company’s expansion was the introduction of a range of trimming machines for the broom and brush industry, enhancing its product offering.

As the company approached its 20th anniversary, a further leap forward was made with the addition of new products to the portfolio, including the ARCHIMEDE machine for medium and small technical brushes, and the JUPITER machine, designed for large and extra-large industrial brushes.

Today, Borghi Machinery Shanghai continues to offer ongoing support and advanced technology for all machines produced by Borghi S.p.A., reinforcing its role as a reliable partner in the brush manufacturing industry across China and Asia.

STAR BMS

Vertical Tufting Machine with 2 Filling Tools and 3 Drills for the Production of all Kinds of Brooms and Brushes.

1. High output thanks to continuous cycle operation, high speed and low downtime of the machine.

2. Quick change-over time: to switch from one setup to another is extremely low.

3. Staple-set and anchor-set filling tools are available, also with mobile jaws for a greater flare angle.

JUPITER

Tufting Machine with 1 Filling Tool and 1 Drill for the Production of Cylinder Brushes, Disc Brushes and Lag Brushes.

1. Large brushes: cylinder brushes up to 4000mm in length and discs up to 900mm diameter.

2. Ability to produce most technical and industrial products.

ARCHIMEDE

Tufting Machine with 1 Filling Tool and 2 Drills for the Production of all Kinds of Brooms and Brushes.

1. Quick change-over time, best choice for short runs.

2. 3-brush-clamping system for continuous operation.

3. Fibre stock box for synthetic filament (up to 3 colours) as well as natural, metallic and grit fibre.
