China Brush & Cleaning Tools Association (CBC) is the only national association for China’s brush industry. The membership numbers around two hundred Chinese enterprises, comprising mainly household brush, industrial brush, toothbrush, cosmetic brush and paint brush manufacturers, as well as suppliers of machinery and brush making materials.

In December, its China Brush & Cleaning Tools Industry Forum was held in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province from 6 to 8 December 2017. Key industry figures from almost 200 enterprises gathered at the Ningbo Yuanzhou Hotel for a pleasant and unforgettable three-day trip, where representatives networked, shared industrial information, met with old friends and made new, as they witnessed the meaningful milestone of an industry coming together.

• Chengfeng, the young Secretary General of the CBC, worked hard throughout the Forum, giving specific explanations and conclusions of every guest’s speech.

• Yang Xijing, President of China Sundry Article Industry Association and Li Ailiang, President of Ningbo East Industry Co.,Ltd, gave the opening speeches as exclusive Forum sponsors.

• Liao Changjing, from the China Sundry Article Industry Association, gave an introduction of the CBC’s standards work. He discussed the importance of product standards and warned that, in the current market of international trade, deficiencies in manufacturing are a hidden danger to the industry and remarked that all enterprises have a responsibility for setting standards.

• Zhang Hongzhen, President of Beijing Building Equipment Enterprise Association, gave a general introduction to the requirements of businesses for cleaning tools. The President of East answered questions regarding the professional use of mops.

• Ken Shary, from the American company Malish Corp, shared with conference delegates a great lesson: There are six secrets to running family businesses: 1. Employees, 2. Passion, 3. Honesty.  4. Concentration, 5. Joining in the community 6. Keeping ahead of technology.

• Chen Jiangfeng, Vice President of China Light Industry Artware Export and Import Commerce, gave details of the evaluation system of trade fairs brand division, explaining that he believes that this could lead to a better understanding of the benefits of trade fairs.

• The morning session of the Forum ended with President Cheng's speech concerning light industry environmental protection. Mr.Cheng explained the related environment protection questions and possible solutions facing the association member companies.

• The afternoon session of the Forum commenced with a very pleasing talk by Wang Mingsong, Technology Director of the US branch of industry giant DuPont, about the past, present and future of nylon and nylon filaments. 

• Delegates couldn’t fail to be moved by the passionate speech given by Mr. Li, President from Xingbaohua, given in the manner expected of a college Professor!

• A ceremony was held in honor of the award winners given by the CBC branch President and Vice President. 

• Li Shanliang, President of Huilang Brushwire, shared examples of the sorts innovation celebrated at the Forum with delegates. 

• Bian Hailong explained the general situation of preparations underway for the CI Brush Shanghai International Brush Industry Show 2018.

• Yin Fazhi,from Guangdong Yongrui Industry Co.,Ltd, talked about what makes a good wire.

• Lijing, from Jieshun Jiaxing, gave an analysis of traditional enterprise product innovation. Innovation is a major element that affecting an enterprise’s survival. How to innovate? What element does innovation need? He ended a day's study as the last speaker, but in a flamboyant fashion.
