Zuchex 2022, the largest international trade meeting of the sector, is getting ready to open its doors on September 15. A total of 37,000 professionals – seven thousand of whom are from abroad – are expected to visit the Fair at Tüyap Beylikdüzü, where 700 companies will participate. Zekeriya Aytemur, General Manager of Tarsus Türkiye, said that the Turkish household and kitchenware industry, with a rising global profile, has transformed changes in the world supply chain into an opportunity. “Thanks to the overseas buyer program implemented for the 32nd Zuchex event, we are bringing more than 300 prominent buyers from different countries to Istanbul. This year, we made a difference and turned to the South American market, where we see considerable potential. Zuchex 2022 will host buyers from Brazil and Uruguay, and we aim to host more countries and buyers from Latin America at the next fair. In a few years, this geography will become an important export market for the Turkish Home and Kitchenware sector.”

Zuchex 2022 takes place at the Tüyap Beylikdüzü Fair and Congress Centre on September 15-18. The event will be a major step for the Turkish home and kitchenware industry, currently ranked eighth in the world export league and aiming to be among the top five. Trade of over one billion dollars is expected to be realized at the Fair, which is eagerly anticipated by manufacturers seeking to open to new markets.

Zuchex, held for the 32nd time by Tarsus Türkiye with the support of the Ministry of Commerce, the Istanbul Minerals and Metals Exporters' Association (IMMIB), The Glassware Association (ZÜCDER), and KOSGEB, will host approximately 37,000 buyers and 700 participating companies from Türkiye and abroad. The Fair will showcase the industry’s newest collections and 2023 designs in the categories of “Tableware and Kitchenware”, “Cooking Equipment”, “Plastic Houseware / Garden Accessories”, “Household Goods”, “Decorative Home and Kitchenware” and “Small Household Appliances”.
