It is with great sadness that the Directors and Staff of Gover, Horowitz & Blunt Ltd announce the sad passing this morning of our Chairman, founder and mentor, Lucien Horowitz. 

 

Born in Romania in 1927, Lucien also lived in Switzerland, Italy and France before settling in London in the 1950’s. He formed Gover, Horowitz & Blunt Ltd in 1960 and remained active in the business until recently. He spoke numerous languages fluently, was a keen sportsman and a very successful businessman. His work lead to extensive international travel and he was a UK delegate to the FAO part of the UN. He was well respected and admired throughout the trade. Husband of 61 years, father of three, grandfather of 6 and colleague and mentor to many. He will be sorely missed.
