H.E. Antonio Bartoli, Ambassador of Italy to India, welcomed Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Jain, Director of Stallone Group, and Mrs. Shalu Jain to a private, invite-only Italian National Day reception and dinner at his residence. The invitation was more than ceremonial—it was a gesture of respect from the Embassy’s Foreign Trade Department, whose leadership has known Mr. Jain since our earliest export years in the early 2000s. They have witnessed, first-hand, Stallone’s journey from a humble manufacturer to a world leader in premium natural boar, pig and hog bristle for high-performance brushes—and a trusted exporter of heritage nautical instruments and medieval armour reproductions.

Held just ahead of Italy’s National Day (2 June), the evening gathered business leaders, diplomats, policy makers and veterans of industry. The program, sponsored by top global brands across hospitality, travel, energy, trade, logistics and real estate, celebrated shared culture through music, dance and visual arts, and even a thoughtful menu that blended Italian and Indian cuisine.

Dr. S. Jaishankar, India’s Minister of External Affairs, addressed the gathering, reaffirming India–Italy strategic cooperation and highlighting platforms such as the G20 and G7, the proposed India–Middle East–Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC), and the International Solar Alliance (ISA). He also condemned the recent terrorist attack in India and thanked the international community for its solidarity.

Our company name “Stallone” was chosen by our founder, Sir Naresh Chand Jain, as a warm nod to his son Sanjeev’s admiration for the global icon Sylvester Stallone, of Italian heritage.

For Stallone, the invitation was a reminder that trade is built on trust, not transactions. It acknowledged years when infrastructure was limited, internet adoption was nascent, and “easy shortcuts” did not exist—yet our team persisted with integrity, quality, and long-term partnerships.
