The call for papers is now open for the 2020 ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo. Now in its fourth year, the ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo will be held the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Sydney on Wednesday 26 August and Thursday, 27 August 2020.

ISSA is accepting the submission of abstracts for individual education sessions or a panel discussion for the event’s two-day education program. The presentations will be 35 minutes, be practical in nature and contain key learnings for the enhancement of the industry and visitors attending.

“This year’s expo theme is ‘Network, Learn, Grow’. Our education streams over the two-day event will be focused around these clear objectives,” Lauren Micallef, ISSA Oceania manager, said.

“Attendees will be able to listen and network with industry leaders and uncover and learn insights into topical issues and trends facing the current market that will aid them in growing and managing their business and day to day operations.

“This year we will also be adapting the education streams so that they feature a higher number of panel discussion between key industry experts addressing topics such as germ warfare, emergency cleaning, the state of the industry, mental illness, inclusion and diversity strategies, disaster and recovery, procurement, adopting new technology as well as tenders and sub- contracting.”

Hosted by ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, the ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo is the industry’s leading trade event. 

This year the expo is co-located with Safety in Action, Australia’s leading workplace health and safety show. Safety in Action is comprised of a large scale exhibition, free seminars, free small-group consultations and three co-located premium conferences exploring safety, wellness and the return to work of injured employees.

Submissions close by Friday, 17 April 2020 or once all available speaker spots have been filled.
