Think Plastic Brazil Expands Participation at Ambiente Fair 2023

The first post-pandemic edition of the industry’s main global fair will be featuring more Brazilian converted plastics companies, as well as the presentation of the Color Trend 2023 book and products in the shades established by Alexandre Herchcovitch as the colors of the year.

With a larger exhibitor area, new companies and the presentation of Yearbook 2022 and Color Trend 2023 (launched during the 2nd World Plastic Connection Summit), Think Plastic Brazil, Portfolio of Solutions for the Export and Internationalization of Brazilian Converted Plastics, created by INP (Brazilian Plastics Institute), in partnership with ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), is preparing its largest participation at Ambiente 2023 to date.

“The portfolio invested a lot in strategies to promote design, innovation and sustainability, and the result of this action started in 2020 will be reflected in the communication and marketing actions during the event,” said Carlos Moreira, Manager of Think Plastic Brazil.

The event will be featuring the companies <OU> Martiplast, Alklin, Botafogo Lar & Lazer, Brinox, Crippa, Dello, Di Solle, Indústria Bandeirante, Jaguar Plásticos, Lolly Baby, Maxeb, Metaltru, Plasútil, Sanremo, São Bernardo, Simonaggio, Stolf, Termolar, UZ Utilidades, Vasap Design, and Vasart.

Lecture series

On February 2, the Consulate General of Brazil in Frankfurt will hold, together with Think Plastic Brazil, a series of preparatory lectures for the event. On the day the presences, on the part of the consulate, of Consul General Alexandre Porto are confirmed; Deputy Consul Elter Barbosa and Technical Assistant Maria Flavia Verhoeven. Carlos Moreira will speak for Think Plastic Brazil and Emerson Raiol, ApexBrasil analyst responsible for managing the sectorial project, will present a lecture for the Agency.

Retail Tour

In addition to the exhibition at the fair, member companies of Think Plastic Brazil will be given a visit guide to the main references addresses for Housewares in Frankfurt, being accompanied by specialist Daniela Ornelas on a guided tour of the main local retail chains. “Following the trends in stores, getting to know the European market through personal experience and keeping up with the main prospects in the region are an added benefit for Brazilian exhibitors and visitors,” said Ornelas.

Promenade

In addition to the itinerary carried out in Frankfurt, exhibitors and visitors will be guided by a tour of the Ambiente 2023 fair, accompanied by specialized local professionals.

Happy Hour (Presentation of the World Plastic Connection Summit 2023, Color Trend 2023, and Yearbook 2022)

Entrepreneurs, international buyers, prospects, journalists and opinion makers are invited to a happy hour on February 3, starting at 6 pm, inside the Brazilian pavilion (A31 & B31). The occasion will mark the release of the industry’s new launches: the Yearbook 2022, with industry information and data from the 170 companies participating in Think Plastic Brazil, and Color Trend 2023, a guide book with color trends for the industry in the year, signed by Alexandre Herchcovitch.

Color Trend 2023 exhibition

An exhibition with products in the Color Trend 2023 colors will be taking place at different points of the Ambiente 2023 fair, in 11 showcases called Dekora (Halls 5; 6; 8; 8-12; 11, and Festhalle). The event will be attended by the companies Alklin, Crippa, Jaguar Plásticos, Lolly Brasil, Plasutil; Sanremo, Schwanke, Termolar, UZ Utilidades, Vasap Design, and Vouga Décor.
