Reit Price Company is again featuring our Black Cat Lever Lock System of mops, squeegees, floor brooms and stainless-steel scrapers. The workhorse in this line is our top-selling Black Cat Lever Lock Handle. Originating in the 1930’s, the Lever Lock Handle is constructed of 1-1/4” lacquered hardwoods, heavy gauge plated steel, and die-cast aluminum parts. The proven construction allows attachments to snap tight onto handles with the flip of a lever. The heavy-duty spring creates a “Shock Absorber” effect to virtually eliminate broken handles and worn staff holes.

The Black Cat Lever Lock Handle attaches to mops, floor squeegees, floor brooms, and our new stainless-steel scrapers, making this system virtually the most durable and versatile floor cleaning system on the market.

Founded in 1900 by I.N. Reitenour and William Price, the former Reit-Price Manufacturing Company steadily grew in business to become one of the largest mop manufacturing companies in Indiana. The company was purchased in 1947 by R.B Stewart and L.D. Baker. The Stewart family owned and operated the business from 1947 until December 2012, when it was purchased by brothers Thomas and Allen Kerns who changed the name to the Reit Price Company. The brothers have reinstated the floor brush and floor squeegee lines as well as adding the new stainless steel scrapers.

The Reit Price Company also manufactures and distributes traditional styles of mops and broom such as the sewn band mops, screw on mops, and standard angle and corn brooms.
