Healthcare Cleaning Forum Announces 2024 Programme

With a packed programme aimed at cleaning professionals, healthcare experts, hospital managers, infection prevention specialists, facility managers and industry leaders – this much anticipated event is a highlight on the professional cleaning industry calendar.

Running alongside Interclean Amsterdam, the world’s leading trade fair for cleaning and hygiene professionals, the forum explores the latest trends and challenges affecting environmental hygiene and disinfection in healthcare institutions.

Visitors to the event can look forward to an extensive programme featuring breakout sessions and internationally renowned keynote speakers Prof. Didier Pittet and Alexandra Peters (University of Geneva Hospitals, Switzerland), Martin Kiernan (Richard Wells Research Centre, United Kingdom), Edmée Bowles (Radboudumc, the Netherlands), Clare Nash (Black Country Alliance, United Kingdom) and Brett Mitchell (Avondale University, Australia). In the afternoon breakout sessions will highlight the use of Artificial Intelligence, digital platforms, automated room disinfection and what we can learn from each other.

About Healthcare Cleaning Forum

Environmental cleaning and disinfection play pivotal roles in reducing healthcare-associated infections (HAI's). The awareness of this continues to grow, which is reflected in the increased number of scientific publications and the many innovative technologies entering the market. Therefore, the moment(um) is now!

Healthcare Cleaning Forum is a unique platform which brings together all sectors of the industry to address the complex challenges posed by healthcare-associated infections, as well as showcase ground-breaking opportunities and pioneering solutions within this vital sector of the industry.

At this one-day conference we recognise that multiple factors influence the efficiency of cleaning, including procedures, training and education, technology, and materials. HCF offers in-depth insights into potential stumbling blocks and recent developments which affect environmental cleaning and hygiene in the healthcare sector in hospitals and long-term-care institutions.

HCF raises awareness, facilitates discussions of best practices and explores the latest scientific research on how cleaning can have an impact on infection prevention and control. A collaborative approach with opportunities for valuable input and feedback, will ensure vibrant discussions and robust analysis – paving the way for the success of future initiatives.

The Healthcare Cleaning Forum serves as a dynamic platform – developed in close cooperation with CleanHospitals® and is powered by Interclean Amsterdam.
