Introducing the Hillbrush Hygiene Range
To implement effective hygiene standards in food preparation areas, you will need; well organised systems, appropriate storage and colour coded cleaning equipment. A well organised workplace not only saves time and money, but reassures your customers that you’re serious about quality. Hillbrush has been promoting and supporting these high standards for 95 years! Constantly innovating, developing and manufacturing the finest cleaning tools for hygiene sensitive environments.
An essential part of the Hillbrush portfolio is the colour coded Hillbrush Hygiene range. Available in 10 colours, workplace segregation has never been easier to implement. Within the colour options are technologically advanced products, which not only support HACCP initiatives, but actively support good hygiene practices. Resin Set DRS® brushware directly answers the number one concern for food manufacturers; how do I prevent filament loss? Resin Set DRS® brushware from Hillbrush is manufactured with food grade, stainless steel staples, holding filaments securely into place. Then, anti-microbial epoxy resin is floated into every crevice of the brush back, locking the filaments into position.
If this wasn’t enough, Resin Set DRS® technology forms part of the Anti-Microbial and Total MDX ranges. Anti-Microbial Hygienic Tools gets to grips with the second biggest concern of food manufacturers; how do I prevent bacterial contamination? If bacteria is unable to grow on the brush, scraper or squeegee, it can’t reproduce and will therefore die. The Biomaster additive within the Anti-Microbial range actively inhibits the growth of bacteria on the products.
Finally, the third biggest concern of the food manufacturer, foreign object contamination. How do you know if something has entered the product? Honestly, it’s expressly difficult to know when something has contaminated your product, but Total MDX can help. Every element is metal and x-ray detectable, including the brush back, anti-microbial resin and filaments. If a piece of this tool is broken during cleaning, provided there is correctly calibrated detection equipment available, it will be detected and can then be removed from the production line.
Hillbrush has become renowned for being experts in the production of hygienic cleaning tools. To share this knowledge and expertise, they are launching Visit Hillbrush, a unique experience which opens up the world of cleaning tool manufacture to the public. With almost 100 years of knowledge to share, guests to Visit Hillbrush can learn about brushmaking through the years, discover more about colour coding and inspire the next generation of manufacturers with live machine demonstrations and educational activities.
