Loewert Industries announces the opening of a new production unit in Sri Lanka.
Loewert Industries, a major contributor in the woodworking industry, in September announced the opening of a new production unit in Sri Lanka. This new entity will allow for the company’s increase in production capacity as well as expand its product range.
Located South of Colombo, in the heart of rubber wood plantations, the unit is spread over 25,000 square feet. Equipped with fully automatic machines, it has been especially designed for the production of wooden brush blocks and wooden paintbrushes.
Exclusive partnerships have been signed with rubber wood plantations allowing for the production of a wide range of products made out of FSC certified wood.
Special care has been given to the high quality of the products. Beyond technology, this focus on quality is reflected by the attention given to product reliability and their impeccable, detailed finish.
The know-how and experience brought on by our European teams have been key factors in the factory’s quick start-up.
Naturally, Loewert Industries maintains all of its activities in Europe (specifically its beech wood “Luxury” lines).
We invite all of our current and future partners to visit our new production facility.
