The Malish Corporation Acquires Abtex Corporation
Valued Abtex Customers and Suppliers,We are pleased to announce that as of December 6, 2019, The Malish Corporation has acquired the assets of Abtex Corporation of Dresden, NY.
The Malish Corporation, founded in 1945 by John and Pauline Malish, is the global leader in design and manufacture of commercial and industrial brushes, custom plastic extrusions, rotational molded and other specialty products. Malish remains a third-generation, family-owned business with Jeff Malish serving as President & CEO. The Malish Corporation is headquartered in Mentor, Ohio and has manufacturing operations in Mentor, Ohio, in Dongguan, China and in Wroclaw, Poland.
The acquisition of Abtex Corporation further diversifies The Malish Corporation’s product offering. The talent and resources provided by the acquisition will enhance the Malish Corporation’s and Abtex’s ability to provide the highest quality products and services to its customers.
Abtex will remain a standalone entity with all employees remaining with the company. Jason Saner will continue as President to guide Abtex to new heights. Customers and suppliers should see no change in business operations. We look forward to working together now and into the future.
