Wöhler Brush Tech: Bringing the World of Brushmaking Machines to INBRUSH 2022

Stand L.03 - INBRUSH | 25 to 27 May 2022 | Mumbai, India

Wöhler Brush Tech will exhibit at the InBrush exhibition in Mumbai together with its Indian partner Technoweb on stand L.03. Everybody at Wöhler is pleased that trade fairs are possible again and looks forward to presenting machinery to customers and reviving contacts face-to-face. Among the exhibited machinery, there will be an extract of the Wöhler portfolio representing bundle cutters, trimmers and power brush machines.

The bundle cutter WÖHLER BC 100 standard cutting plate is equipped with two bushings for different bundle diameters. Changing between the bushings is quick and easy. For flexible cutting of many different bundle diameters, the optional 7-hole cutting plate with up to seven different diameters is often used. With the individual selection of the diameters of the cutting bushings between 1.6 inch and 3.5 inch (40.0 - 90.0 mm), the customer-specific product range can be fully covered. The length stop with scale supports the operator in cutting reproducibly consistent bundle lengths.

The SHF Basic is a two-step assembly tool for brush segments. In the first production step, a disc is punched with mounting lugs on the tabletop punching station. The operator inserts the blank and the SHF Basic automatically indexes and turns the disc until all mounting lugs are punched. The second production step is the filling station. The previously punched disc is inserted. The operator inserts the crimped wire bundles into the hole of the mounting lug. By means of a mechanical press, the mounting lug is closed and the fill material is firmly fixed.

The FS 930 is a universal trimmer for the trimming of wire, synthetics and natural fibers that can easily be mounted on all trimming benches. It can be adapted to the customers’ needs with HSS, carbide and PCD trimmer heads depending on the fill material specifications and offers a high trimming performance with all materials. This adaptability ensures perfectly trimmed surfaces even with high-density brushes.

The semi-automatic ZL 100 is designed for the production of twist knot brush segments. The pre-punched disc is fed manually. The operator turns the disc to the required position, feeds the wire through the twisting head and disc and activates twisting by pressing the start button. The two-hand-operation ensures maximum safety. The ZL 100 allows twisting at different linear speeds and numbers of revolutions over the entire length. This achieves good quality rose end knots or cable twists. The control system can store up to 200 programs for different kinds of brush types. A wire picker is optionally available. The produced brush segments form the basis for twist knotted disc brushes, cup brushes or end brushes.
In summary, the ZL 100 offers highest flexibility at low investment costs.

Wöhler looks forward to welcoming you at Stand L.03.
