Gordon Brush Mfg. Co., Inc., has a rich history as an American brush manufacturer. Founded in 1951, Gordon Brush® includes two brands whose origin dates to 1855 and 1897. The Company is ISO 9001:2015 certified and a leading manufacturer of specialty, custom and standard brushes for industrial and consumer uses. Gordon Brush® manufactures the very popular FootMate® System, as well as over 17,000 standard and custom brushes at its state-of-the-art 183,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in City of Industry, California. Gordon Brush® stocks over 3,500 different brushes for same day shipment, selling to a variety of industries including medical, electronics, manufacturing, military, aerospace, janitorial, automotive, bakery, restaurant, and pharmaceutical. Gordon Brush's recently acquired: Kirschner Brush; J.B. Ward & Sons; StaticFaction; Spectrum Paint Applicators; and Easy Reach, Inc. Gordon Brush® is the recipient of the 2018 Made: In American award and the 2019 Armed Forces Award. Our President & CEO, Ken Rakusin is the recipient of the Patriot award. The 2018 award was bestowed on the heels of the company receiving a Certificate of Congressional Recognition as part of the U.S. House of Representatives’ Make It In America initiative. The House established the program in 2010 to encourage private sector job creation nationwide. Not only did Gordon Brush® receive national recognition for its participation in the program, U.S. Representative Grace Napolitano (D-CA) and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) visited the Company's manufacturing complex, to personally bestow the honor upon the company for actively promoting the American manufacturing industry.
